City of Many Bodies

A creative fellowship reimagining public space through disability justice.

City of Many Bodies is a long-term fellowship that supports artists, storytellers, and people with disabilities to create artistic interventions across Ahmedabad. Guided by an advisory group of people with lived experience, the fellowship rethinks how cities are seen, navigated, and experienced. Through public art, storytelling, performance, and spatial interventions, participants work towards a city where many bodies, ways of moving, and ways of being can belong. The fellowship will open early 2027.
